Read-A-Thon Deadline Friday--Last Push--Closer to our Goal (see links inside)

Dear Monte Vista Families and Community,

There's still time to support readers! Thank you to everyone who has submitted minutes read and donations so far. We are soooo proud of our readers! It has been fun to hear students' reflections around reading during the Read-a-Thon.

We have extended the Read-A-Thon minutes logging (paper from student packet or google form) and money donations (to help fund after-school clubs, fieldtrips, and more) to Friday, October 16th. Donations can be turned in to office such as cash or check (Monte Vista PTO), or it can be turned in online through 99 Pledges--see link below (credit card). 

Even $10-$40 can go a long way in helping us reach our school goal to help fundraise many of our enrichment programs, events, and trips.

On Monday, October 19th, we will announce the participant winners as well as all participants that are getting a certain level award in general. Most prize bags will be passed out on Tuesday, October 20th, with exception of the ice cream truck on October 30th and Movie Theatre experience most likely in November.
