After-School Campus Academy (ASCA)
At Monte Vista Elementary, we offer After School Campus Academy, which is a fee-based child care that offers different enrichment programs, structured play opportunities, and assistance with homework as well. This is offered during the entire school year and includes before school care in the cafeteria starting at 7:15AM and after-school pick-up by 6PM. A message from the director and forms for ASCA are attached below. It is important you turn these in as soon as possible because spots do fill up to maximum capacity, and there is most likely a waiting list. Hello 2021 ASCA Families (or Prospective Families that want to apply for ASCA),
Welcome back! The after school program is very excited to have students back on campus and we are looking forward to another great school year!
Program Daily Schedule (Monday,Tuesday,Thursday,Friday)
*TK students are released at 2pm and will be picked up by an after school staff member.
*Wednesday Schedule
*Wednesday's are early release at 12:50pm (TK also releases at 12:50pm)

Monthly Fees
2021-2022 ASCA Fees
As it states in the ASCA handbook, payment is due every 1st of the month. Failure to pay for after school services by the 5th day of the month can result in your student being dropped from the program. As a program we are understanding that things do come up so please make sure to reach out and connect with me if you are in need of assistance.
Snack
A small snack will be offered to students daily. This can range from milk and cookies to juice and cheese crackers. It varies daily.
Water Bottles
Please have your student bring a refillable water bottle as there is a refill station and water fountains are off limits.
Toys
Please encourage your student to leave any toys or cards at home so they are not misplaced or lost.
Daily Pick Up
The pick up location for students will be at the bottom parking lot next to the portables. Please call or text the site phone number when you are ready to pick up your student. I do ask that you please be patient when picking up your student as I will do my best to have them ready for you but there can be big waves of pick ups when multiple students leave at the same time.
Morning/Early Drop-off
I have connected with some families regarding early drop-off. Space is very limited due to staffing. Please be aware that I will not be able to take everyone. Early morning drop-off will be at 7:15am for those who are enrolled. Breakfast will be offered to all students beginning at 7:30am with 7:55am being the transition period to the classroom. (This is the same information Dr.Ashby recently sent out.)
