Important Information Regarding Monte Vista Elementary Grade Expansion Monte Vista Elementary will expand to be TK-8 schools by adding 7th grade in the 2022-2023 school year and 8th grade in the 2023-2024 school year. In order to support Monte Vista’s expansion, the Board recently approved the reconfiguration and consolidation plan that will move Monte Vista permanently to the Walter Colton campus starting with 1st through 7th grade in 2022-2023 and then become a full Monte Vista Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade starting in 2023-2024.
